When We Can Come
How quickly can you clear a blocked drain?
Same-day service is the norm, not the exception. Call and we'll talk through what's happening, then book you a time. Often that's later the same day.
What happens after I call?
We talk through the symptoms over the phone first. Then we book a time that works for you. On arrival, we diagnose the actual problem before touching a tool. You get a straight answer on cost before anything starts.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes. We're open 24 hours, so weekends and public holidays are covered the same as any weekday. A real person answers the phone, day or night, not a machine.
What counts as a drain emergency?
Sewage backing up into the house is one. So is a toilet or shower that won't drain at all, or stormwater surcharging inside during a downpour. If it's affecting the house itself, call straight away rather than waiting to see if it clears.

Pricing, Straight Up
What does "$65 off your first service" cover?
It's $65 off the cost of your first job with us. It comes straight off the total before you pay. New customers get it automatically, no catch attached.
How does your pricing work for drain jobs?
We diagnose the job, then tell you what it'll cost before we start. We don't charge by the hour. There's no surprises on the invoice once we're done either.
What does "best price guaranteed" actually mean?
It's our promise that what we quote is fair for the work involved. You approve it before we start. That's what you pay, whatever we find once we're underway.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, there's no call-out fee, ever. You pay for the fix, not for us turning up to have a look.

The Botany Drain Picture
Why do older Botany homes keep getting blockages?
A lot of the suburb's Federation-era terraces and beach-shack cottages, the kind you'll still see near the Botany Road shopping strip, run original clay or earthenware pipework. That material cracks and shifts with age. Roots and fine sand find their way in through the joints, and the blockages become a repeat problem rather than a one-off.
What suburbs do you service?
Botany is our home turf. The regular run extends to Mascot, Pagewood, Eastgardens, Eastlakes and Tempe.
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
As a rule, the property owner is responsible for the private drainage on their side, up to the point of connection. Sydney Water looks after the mains beyond that point. We can talk you through which side a blockage sits on once we've had a look.
How local are you, really?
Botany and the streets around it, from Jasmine Street through to the foreshore end, are our regular run, not an occasional stop. We're out this way most weeks. That means we already have a fair idea what this suburb's pipework tends to do before we arrive, especially through the colder months when older, uninsulated cottages put more strain on ageing plumbing generally.

Licensed, Insured and Guaranteed
Who actually turns up?
An owner-led local team. The director still works on the tools, and there's a specialist on the crew who handles the harder sewer and drain jobs specifically. No subcontractors you've never met.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, quality workmanship guaranteed on every job. That means done properly the first time. It gets checked before we leave, rather than left for you to discover a problem later.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
Try a plunger once if it's just one slow fixture. Past that point, shop-bought chemicals and a hired eel risk damaging older pipework rather than clearing it properly. If a drain keeps blocking, you need someone licensed to work out why, not just push the blockage further down the line.
What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?
Our workmanship, for life. Should anything we've fixed fail down the track, we'll return and sort it properly. No extra cost, no time limit attached.
